Pink Sunday
Join us for Pink Sunday on October 18th as we recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
We invite everyone to wear pink in support of those who are currently fighting breast cancer, to honor survivors, and to remember those we have lost. Let’s come together as a church family to show our support, raise awareness, and stand in love with everyone impacted by breast cancer.

Holy Hustle: Young Adult Conference
Central’s young adult conference, Holy Hustle: Adulting with Grace, is coming Friday, October 23 through Sunday, October 25 for young adults ages 18–39! Join us for a weekend of encouragement, connection, and practical support as we navigate faith, careers, responsibilities, and everyday life. Registration is $25 for young adults and $10 for undergraduate students, with free transportation available for Baltimore-area college students and on-site childcare provided.

The Media Ministry is hosting a Winter Shoes and Boots Drive in support of Paul’s Place Outreach Center “Harvest for Happy Feet.” We are collecting new and gently used winter shoes and boots for men, women, and children, with larger sizes especially needed. Gym shoes are also accepted; however, please do not donate high heels, cut-outs, or sandals.
Donations will be accepted through October 25, and may be dropped off in the new building foyer outside the Admin Office. Thank you in advance for your generosity and support.

86th Anniversary and Revival Weekend
It’s time to celebrate Central’s 86th Anniversary, with a powerful Revival Weekend on November 13-15. We are blessed to welcome guest minister Bro. Randall F. Tucker of South Union Church of Christ in Houston, Texas and guest Worship Leader Bro. Sebastian Davis of Bedford Church of Christ in Boston, Massachusetts.
The weekend will begin on Friday at 7pm with an evening of powerful preaching and praise, followed by a workshop entitled “Revived, Restored, and Ready to Serve,” held on Saturday 9am-12pm. We will end with a Bible Study at 9am and morning worship service at 10:30am on Sunday morning, along with a fellowship meal following morning worship and an afternoon worship service at 3pm.
Please make plans to join us for this special weekend of preaching, worship, fellowship, and praise as we thank God for 86 years of faith, service, strength, and ministry at Central Church of Christ.

The Black History and Senior ministries invites you to join them for a 6-day, 5-night trip to Chicago, Illinois on August 30-September 4, 2027. Christian Counseling Ministry
Central’s Christian Counseling Ministry offers a safe and confidential space for healing and for addressing personal and spiritual growth. Our vision is to enable self-understanding and a biblical approach for dealing with life issues. Four (4) FREE sessions are available.

Central members who were baptized from January 2022 to the present are encouraged to take part in the New Members Class, held every Sunday at 9am in the Woodridge Road Fellowship Hall. It is designed to address the particular spiritual needs of new Christians by rooting and grounding them in the faith as they begin their walk with the Lord. The teachers are Bro. Albert Goode, Bro. Derrick Lindsey and Bro. Archie Veale.

Young Adult and Families Pop-up Bible Class
Join us for our Thursday night pop-up Bible class, which will be taught by Bro. Noah Reed on Zoom at 7:30 PM. This class is geared toward young adults and young families looking for a relaxed space to grow in the Word, ask questions, and connect with others.

24 Hours of Prayer
Join members of the Church of Christ from around the world in 24 Hours of Prayer, a 24-hour long Zoom event that will be held from Friday, October 16, 2026 at 6pm to Saturday, October 17, 2026 at 6pm.

Dale City COC invites all sisters to their Ladies’ Day, held on October 17 from 9:30am to 2pm and focusing on the theme “Trusting God to Deliver Me: A Journey of Faith, Freedom, and Transformation”. The event will feature speakers Sis. Felicea Robinson, Esq., Sis. April Richardson, and Sis. Natasha Ballard.
